California Girl Scouts make the world a better place…for pandas!

The third grade girls who make up Brownie Troop 2889 from Foothill Ranch, CA love all animals, but especially Giant Pandas. This year, they voted to donate $200 of the money they earned selling Girl Scout cookies to Pandas International to protect this endangered species. In honor of the gift, their troop leaders also gave them their very own stuffed animal to adopt as a troop mascot. The girls named it “Bamboo.” Brownie Troop 2889 is so proud that the money they earned through the hard work of selling cookies will be used to help buy formula for cubs and elderly pandas.

Thank you very much Brownie Troop 2889. You are an amazing group of girls!
