Meredith is 8 years old and lives in Abu Dhabi.  She learned about Pennies for Pandas after she wanted to find an organization that helped pandas (her favorite animal).  She spent a lot of time researching online and felt good about the work Pandas International was doing to help pandas.  She raised the money at her school, from friends and family and used her own allowance instead of spending it on herself.  Meredith is a little shy but she was so brave to stand up in front of her whole classroom and tell them about Pennies for Pandas – although they don’t have pennies in Abu Dhabi so she collected dirhams which is the currency used here.
