For Zara’s birthday party she had everyone bring any money that they would have spent on a gift and instead it would be donated to Pandas International. As a craft they made panda bags (one person sewed a panda head to her journal), and everyone was encouraged to wear/bring any panda related… well, anything!

Zara raised a lot of money from that but also decided to sell bracelets at her church. There was no required amount people needed to give in order to receive a bracelet, but the people were very generous!  She had a lot of fun making the bracelets, and knowing that it was for a good cause. It was also nice when she had a conversation to the people buying her bracelets. She got to know them better and got engaged in interesting conversations.

Overall Zara raised $145! Thank you Zara for your dedication and help to save the Giant Pandas.
